What's in a name?

We're all familiar with the popular saying, once bitten, twice shy. But is that often the case?

I can't count, and I should start counting, how many times I've made the same mistake or dumb decision twice or more.

The name of this blog is fitting because is in my offical 2nd go at writing online.

How did come up with this? Glad, you asked.

It came to me this morning on the same place where great ideas come, on the toilet seat. The voices in my head were gnawing at each other about a Thread on Threads where someone said not to ask how are you? to someone grieving and I share similar thoughts. I thought about how overwhelming although well-intentioned that question is.

I also remembered that I know a bit much of how to deal with hard times and somewhat appropriate lingo and the failed promise I made to write about it.

One of the voices randomly spat a J.cole's lyric "fool me one time, shame on you, fool me twice can't put a blame on you etc" and I thought, hm, fool me twice?

And not at all because I’m unemployed for the 2nd time in 2years.
